The first phase of cleaning and creating a functional kitchen is just over. It is worth emphasising that it wouldn’t be like this without the help of our Foundation’s friend – Ania. Due to her involvement, last Saturday, the apartment was full of people willing to dedicate their free time to arrange the place as an area to move in. She brought some sweet buns and dry smoked pork sausages to everybody. The kitchen was filled with rich aroma of freshly roasted coffee… She allocated the tasks, gave some pieces of advice, searched for the best solutions, but most importantly, she patiently scrubbed the ever-present dirt. People that helped us a lot and worked very hard were: Leszek ,,Handy Manny’’ from the previous project, Łukasz – Alicja’s brother, Mr. Tomek – a true Renaissance Man who can simply do all concerning: work on roof, plumbing and ,,deep-see’’ work in the basement walls, his young brother, a friend of Foundation – Mr. Paweł.

There is time to mention Alicja’s name now. She hasn’t helped us with the restoration due to examination session.
Some photos with the results will be published soon, but the second part from the house-warming party will see the light of day in the middle of July 🙂
